• The National Society for Clean Cities (NSCI) handed over its building at Pantnagar, Ghatkopar, constructed in May 1984 to YMCA for running a Bala Kendra and gymnasium as well as a stadium and playground. The project was inaugurated on September 12, 1985 by Keshub Mahendra. During their first year itself, YMCA ran the Balwadi, Night Study Centre, Health Care Centre and Gymnasium.
